http://www.truckeeriveroutfitters.comFlows have been outstanding at 77 CFS. The fishing has been really good on both the California and the Nevada sides. There has been midges and baetis hatching especially on cloudy days. the water is still a little cold and the fish are definately holding in slower deeper pools. The fish are really stacked up in this type of water so if you catch a fish give the run a break and fish it thouroghly. Nymphing with small Baetis and midges has been working well. The best dry fly fishing seems to be early afternoons on non windy days. The Stoneflies should be hatching soon with warmer weather approaching. Keep an eye on the flows, they could go up any day.
