The flows are still good, but the water temperatures on the Truckee River remain high during the afternoons and evenings. Anglers should try to get out there before noon to avoid stressing the fish out. Anglers are seeing a good hatch of caddis fly, pale morning duns, and golden stones. Anglers fishing in the morning should try nymphing with small golden stones, small flashback pheasant tails, crawdad patterns, natural colored streamers, or crayfish.
