Hello everyone; Wake-Up!!! That was the call this morning. The morning started at 03:00 hours, with the first Yellowfin hitting the deck. Roy made the wake up call, and it was all hands on deck. Most of the Yellowfin were in the 12 to 18 pound range, with a few larger one’s.
Once the sun came up, the Yellowfin made a quick departure. After breakfast, we pulled our anchor and started looking for Wahoo. We found one small bunch of Wahoo, and we ended up getting 8 nice skin. Since the Wahoo didn’t make a great showing, we made a quick move to the west, looking for a kelp or something floating. We also made a few drifts for Grouper, and that paid off for a few passenger. We would end up with a handful of Grouper for our efforts. So at the end of the day we ended up with limits of Yellowfin tuna, 8 Wahoo, 7 Grouper, and 20 Dorado.
We are now headed north, and we will make a few more stops, before calling it a trip. Weather continues overcast and warm. So until tomorrow, wish us luck and we will keep you up dated on our daily events. Team R/p.
