http://www.royalpolaris.comHello everyone, weather out here at the bank is outstanding. To have three wonderful days of weather at Hurricane Bank, is just out of this world. Once again, flat, clear skies, and very warm today. Today was the first time that we had any life on the bank. We had good signs of Yellowfin most of the day, but once again, the Sharks are a very big problem. All the fish we tagged today were in the 150 to 200 pound category. Big fish honors goes to Stan Bonillas. Stan was on the kite, when this giant would inhale his flying fish. Billy made the decision to put Stan in the skiff, so we could go to the next school. We would hit many schools of fish today, but we had the let-goes once again. Stan's fish would tap out at 213 pounds (est wt). We lost 16 Yellowfin today, most of which were on the kite. We had the same problem as yesterday. Heartbreakers for the day goes to Jerry Brown. Jerry hooked a very nice fish in the dark on a live flying fish. Jerry would fight this fish for over an hour, when one of our passengers would hook a Wahoo, and you know, the rest of the story. The giant would live to fight another day. But that would not be the only giant we would lose today. But with 7 full days left, we look forwarded to tomorrow. So until then, wish us luck and we will keep you updated on our daily events.
The R/p crew.
