Attention youth hunters! The Eastern and Western Washington youth pheasant hunting season is Sept. 19-20. For more information and to see other youth hunting dates, see the Migratory Waterfowl and Upland Game Seasons pamphlet at https://wdfw.wa.gov/hunting/regulations/migratory-waterfowl-upland-game. There you will also find dates for the age 65 and older, hunters with disabilities, and general pheasant seasons.
𝙉𝙊𝙏𝙀: Due to wildfire, the youth hunt scheduled to take place at the Wenas Wildlife Area Sept. 19-20 is moving to the Whiskey Dick Unit of the L.T. Murray Wildlife Area. Register online on our hunting clinics webpage at https://wdfw.wa.gov/hunting/requirements/hunting-clinics.
All other youth pheasant releases and hunts will take place as originally planned unless stated otherwise on our Washington wildfire information page at https://wdfw.wa.gov/about/wdfw-lands/wildfire.
