Anglers will want to check temporary regulations in effect for Chinook this year for the Elk.  

Cutthroat trout fishing can be good this time of year.  Some of the best areas to fish are a little harder to access where the larger cutthroat will seek out deeper, darker pools. 

Cape Blanco State Park has been closed all summer due to Covid 19 funding reductions, which has limited fishing opportunities. Oregon State Parks is hoping to have limited day use available by the time Chinook salmon start returning.
