Crooked River Fishing Report

Fly and Field Outfitters

Report Date:

Flows have dropped, and have pushed the river into late fall conditions. A dry dropper rig is a great way to get your nymphs in the water without spooking any fish and fish a dry fly for the hatch all at the time. Using 5x fluoro for the dropper and nylon 5x for the dry on top, fish are not insanely picky but the lighter approach will give you more opportunities than not. Be sure to wear those fleece pants and gloves out on the water.
