Water Conditions: GOOD
As of 4/28 the flow above Hot Creek confluence is 80 CFS. The water is clear and cold.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: GOOD
Look for the fish to be sluggish with the cold water until
about 10 am. then the bite is good for about 3-4 hours. The
BWO hatches are consistant midday as are the Midge hatches
early.
The fish are feeding voraciously subsurface and on top from
like noon to 3 pm, then it is over. Some Caddis have been
seen but no full blown hatch yet.
