Still Some Open Water

Most of the reservoir is ice-covered but there is still some open water near the upper end of the Reservoir. Ice thickness is unknown.

Dam outflow has now been shut off so anglers may be able to take advantage of stranded trout in the pooled water of the Malheur River below the dam.
