Bridgeport Fish Report - March 08, 2021
As of March 01, 2021 the California side of the East Walker has been closed. It will re-open the last Saturday in April (4/24/21) with the regular season. The regulations also state that when it re-opens the limit will be 2 fish over 18” and only artificial lures will be allowed (this of course includes flies). If you are not happy with these new regulations on the East Walker I encourage you to contact the Fish and Game Commission, contact information is below.
We haven’t had anyone on the ranch lately, we’ll get an update out as soon as we can!

With the adoption of the new regulations on March 01, 2021, the entire West Walker River is now open, in the “off season” it is catch and release with artificial flies/lures only and barbless hooks. I haven’t had any reports yet but as the weather warms up the fishing on the West should start to pick up, both in the Pickle Meadows area as well as the Walker Canyon area. When we get some news of the fishing up there we’ll be sure to pass it along.
