http://www.truckeeriveroutfitters.comFlows are 54 CFS. They are starting to get a little low. With increased pressure, the Little Truckee has been tough to say the least. More experienced anglers are still catching fish but it is turning into a science project. Nymphing with small flies in sizes 18 and 20 are doing the best. Also, try ants, PMD patterns and aquatic worms. A stealthy approach is a must with the lower flows. Go here for stream flows

In California the river is in really good shape from Lake Tahoe to the Boca Bridge. Flows are 232 CFS in Truckee. It is still a little early in the year for any hatches but the nymph fishing has been really good. From the Boca Bridge to the state line the flows are still a little high at 600 to 750 CFS.
