I got out to the Metolius on memorial day. It was around 80 degrees and there was a huge diversity of hatches. Caddis were on the water from around 11 to 4. Pale morning duns didn’t get started until around 2, the fish didn’t seem super keyed into them. Green drakes weren’t popping until 3 and it wasn’t a huge hatch, my guess is that it was a bit too hot. I saw some flying ants, so terrestrials can be worth tying on. On cooler 60 -70 degree days expect some great mayfly action, above 80 and the caddis seem to be predominant. For nymphs, golden stones, green drake nymphs, caddis pupa and size 14 - 18 mayfly nymphs get the job done. For the upper sections of the river, size your flies down a good bit. Swinging pupa and soft hackles can also receive a nice tight line grab from a hungry redside. The bull trout were fairly active. Streamers did well and they won't refuse a well presented nymph.
