Fishing this weekend the smart angler would have a 12 or 15lbs, 20 and 25lbs outfit. For terminal tackle, size 2 and 1/0 J hooks, 1/8oz sliding egg sinkers and small colt sniper or mega bait type lures. Shots at yellowtail daily and seeing an impressive amount of bonito, barracuda and calico bass that should keep everyone that comes prepared busy throughout the day.

A push of clean water might be the missing piece of the puzzle to get the counts more consistent. Boat leaves at 7am daily and we’ve been fishing the island the majority of our trips this season!
