http://www.truckeeriveroutfitters.comFlows are dropping fast. They are down to 166 CFS and dropping daily. The East Carson is the closest thing in the area to a freestone river and the snowpack is all but gone. The river is in great shape and the fishing has been pretty good. Nymphing with small golden stone nymphs and a smaller dropper such as a micro mayfly, hbi\'s or caddis under an indicator is a good way to start. A stealthy approach is a must right now with the low clear water. Look for flows to keep dropping over the next month or so. Fish early in the mornings and in the late evenings.
