The river is flowing at about 30 cfs right now, this is low but fairly typical for this time of the year. The water temperatures have come down significantly and are mostly in the low 50’s in the morning and still in the high 50’s in the afternoons. The fishing down there has been pretty good this past week with lots of nice fish being caught on streamers and nymphs. W’ve had a few good reports on streamers like dead drift crayfish, great basin drifter and sculpzillas as well as quite a few good reports on the following nymph patterns, zebra midge, perdigon nymph, silver streak, rainbow warrior, flashback emerger, as well as San Juan worms in pink and red. With the lower water temps the fish are healthy and happy and after the long wait this summer it’s time to get back on the water.
