With rain this river will swell up and get some color to it, currently it is on the drop on the lower end with some great opportunities to pick up fish coming in from the lake. Try your sculpin patterns near the bottom. There are definitely October Caddis coming off, swinging pupa patterns should be on your technique checklist. Also, Blue Wing Olives and midges will continue to be good producers, Sweet Peas, Zebra Midges, S&Ms are working well in the mornings. Watch the weather and when you come up, be prepared to move higher into the system to find good water.
