Fishing action is steady for bluegill and catfish in the ponds. Catfish are biting on night crawlers and hot dog pieces around sunset. The bass bite has slowed down. The Nevada Department of Wildlife began its seasonal trout plants at the community fishing ponds in the Las Vegas Valley this week. Floyd Lamb, Sunset, and Veterans Memorial parks all received fish. Cold Creek also received a load of fish. Stocked rainbows love night crawler pieces, PowerBait, and marshmallows.
