Fishing on the Truckee is off the charts right now.

Flows: 240-349 Cfs

Water is looking great right now. Water temps are in the low 40’s. The BWO’s are starting to get into full swing with fish coming to the surface in the afternoons. Run indicator rigs in the mornings with a San Juan worm or a Skwala nymph and a BWO or midge trailing. As the day heats up be ready to throw dries in the mid afternoon.

Hatches: Midges, BWO’s and some early Skwalas.

Flies: zebra midges, P.T.’s, Stoneflies in Olive. Dries, BWO emerger are a great choice for the Truckee River. BWO Adults.
