The North Fork Nehalem blew out on Monday but has already dropped back into shape, and may even be a little low by the weekend. The majority of the hatchery run in this basin is done, but there are still wild broodstock hatchery fish coming back this year and this will continue into April. They are a small percentage of the overall release, so numbers will be low, but we are seeing some coming back to the hatchery and to anglers catch. There’s also still catch-and-release opportunity for wild steelhead.
