Tillamook Bay Fishing Report

There hasn’t been much more than rumors reported so far, but spring Chinook should be showing up in Tillamook Bay and the Trask tidewater. Numbers will probably be low for another week or two, but there are probably a few fish around.

Anthony Lake: Over the winter, anglers had good fishing for rainbow trout

Wood River: The Wood River opens this Friday, April 22
Applegate River: The Applegate River is currently closed to trout and steelhead fishing
Cooper Creek Reservoir: Cooper was stocked a few weeks ago
Diamond Lake: The snowpack at Diamond has returned to the normal amount for this time of year
Empire Lake Lower: Pound-size trout are scheduled to be stocked into Lower Empire Lake this week
Fish Lake : Expect snow but open water for the weekend
Galesville Reservoir: A recent report had anglers catching a ton of trout including some holdover trout from last May
Rogue River - Middle: With rain forecast all week, the river is expected to crest on Thursday but likely not as much as forecast
Rogue River- Upper: Winter steelhead are being caught in the upper Rogue on a regular basis

Alsea River: Winter steelhead fishing is winding down on the Alsea
Kilchis River: The Kilchis River still has some opportunity for catch and release on wild steelhead
Nehalem River: Nehalem River Fishing Report

Siletz River: Winter steelhead fishing is starting to slow down for the season on the Siletz
Trask River: The Trask River still has some opportunity for catch-and-release

Green Peter Reservoir: Reservoir is slowly filling again
Junction City Pond: The pond will be stocked this week with about 1,500 trout
Santiam River ( North Fork) : No recent fishing reports
Hood River: Spring Chinook fishing is currently open on the Hood River
Laurance Lake: Reopens to fishing on Friday, April 22
Pine Hollow Reservoir: Pine Hollow Reservoir was stocked Monday
Wickiup Reservoir: Wickiup Reservoir will open to fishing on Friday, April 22
Grande Ronde River: Grande Ronde River Report
Hat Rock Pond: The Hat Rock pond was stocked the week of April 15
Imnaha River: Steelhead fishing is open in the Imnaha River through April 30
