Monday morning fishing on the Kimberly Ann

Six people ventured out on a really nice ocean (finally) and we were able to get up to the Lincoln City reefs this morning where there are a-lot more fishing spots especially in the deeper waters.  We fished in 120' to 175' feet of water and for the 1st hour or so had a terrific Lingcod bite with well over half the number of Ling's needed for that limit.  After that first hour the Ling’s went on a vacation but we had great fishing for the rockfish especially the Canary rockfish an excellent eating but deeper water rockfish.  We came home with a limit of rockfish but the crabbing was as it has been lately quite poor with only 5-crabs in the pots that were legal.

Except for possibly Wednesday the week looks like a good one weather wise.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (541) 765-2345.
