Conditions for bass and catfish fishing are hit and miss thus far. We’ve had a very wet and cold spring, with flows currently high for this time of year, but predicted to start dropping rapidly over the coming weeks. Even with less than perfect water conditions, we have had recent reports of excellent bass fishing in the lower sections of the John Day.
