Howdy y'all, it's Trejan on the Sunrise. Today we had a 5 hour fishing and crabbing trip with 17 passengers. We left the harbor at 6:15 and headed north. We traveled  for 20 minutes to set our crab pots along the beach and then headed back south. After 10 minutes, we got to our first fishing spot. On our first drift, we caught 7 fish. We then caught 5 on the second and 7 again on the third. We continued to catch 5-10 fish per drift until we limited out in about 2 and a half hours. What was interesting though, was  the amount of bass that were big and chunky. About a third of our bass where about 50% bigger than an average bass. After fishing, it was time for us to go crabbing. After crabbing we finished up our trip by heading back to the harbor. It was a nice day for most of our trip and it was a great day to go fishing.
