Donner Lake is one of the slowest fisheries right now and one that will test any angler’s patience. It is quality over quantity here. There is some decent shore fishing off of China Cove and the west end beach. Anglers can try using salmon eggs and worms off the bottom for the best results.

Donner Lake is currently at 80% capacity.
