The Metolius has been fishing well. Caddis have been around on most days and having a variety of sizes and colors will be to your benefit to match the hatch. BWO’s and PMD’s should also be in your box. Nymphing has been hot on soft hackle PT’s, nitro caddis, walts worms, and two-bits to name a few. Swinging streamers or fishing them under an indicator is a good way to target bulls, and there seem to be quite a few lake fish in the river already.
Suggested Dries: Purple Haze #14-18, Hackle Stacker Baetis #18-20, Parachute Baetis #16-20, Tiltwing #18-20, Comparadun #16-22,
