Fishing for trout has been great while the smallmouth fishing has been good. Trout fishing has been best early and late in the shallows or in deep water during the day. Trout are actively cruising the shallows for damsels and other insects when the sun is off the water. Bass fishing has been best from a boat with jigs and spoons off the deeper points along the south shore. Both chartreuse and crayfish colored lures and flies work very well year-round at Wall.

The lake is down and fishing has been excellent. Walleye and carp fishing has slowed some with the high temps.......
