Well, let's make thing right. We had excellent fishing on Yellowfin tuna. Most of the fish were in the 15-to-22-pound range, with a majority of them in the 30-to-40-pound category.
We arrived to Alijos rocks, at 04:30 hours, and once the sun came up, it was game on. We had limit style fishing for the morning then things slowed way down. But around 16:00 hours, things started back up once again.
As the sun started to set, then the taxman made his first showing, eating a majority of the larger Yellowfin. The weather was perfect, slightly overcast skies, flat seas, just enough breeze to keep the heat down, and sunny.
We did manage to get one Wahoo today, on the live bait wire. Wahoo fishing has been very slow. We will try to make some bait tonight, fish for Yellowtail, and try a few Grouper drifts tomorrow afternoon, if the weather stays like it is.
Not much more to say, so I'll let the photos do the talking. Until tomorrow, good luck and good fishing. Team R/p.
