The Crooked river has been fishing fair. There are good numbers of smaller class fish around. Many or the larger fish are pretty skinny, likely due to lack of food during the low flows. Nymphing will be the most consistent method for picking up fish. Zebra midges, two-bits, scuds, and eggs have all been effective patterns. Dry-dropper setups are always fun on the fall, and you never know when fish will hit a chubby or other large foam fly, even in the middle of winter.
