https://www.grandesportfishing.com35 anglers: 27 Yellowtail. Good sign of large Bluefin that were extremely finicky, with yellowtail on kelps to pass the time while trying to get the Bluefin to bite. Things are shaping up nicely and we’ll be right back out there on Monday!

Tackle recommendations for Offshore Trips:
1. 30-40 pound flyline setup with size 1 and 2 circle hooks and fluorocarbon.
2. 50-60 pound setup for fishing sinker rigs and SK jigs. 6 to 8 ounce torpedo sinkers. Also a good idea to bring some Daiwa Zakana jigs or other shiny dart style jigs in the 100 to 150 gram size.
3. Big Bluefin: 60-100lb outfit with a two speed reel to fish the sinker rig and 180-300 gram knife jigs. Not mandatory but you’ll wish you had it if the jumbos decide to play.
Trips will be departing seven days a week at 5:30am from H&M Landing.
