We departed on our Open Party 7 Day with a great load of bait and we pointed the boat south. We spent our first couple days traveling in beautiful weather and when we arrived on scene our first fishing day it was like a lake on the water. Flat calm weather with bright and clear sky's. As we rolled in we saw lots of Yellowtail swimming around on the surface boiling around on the local bait. Once we got our anchor down we were greeted with Yellowtail boiling all around the boat. It was as good as it gets fishing with all methods working. We spent our first day on one anchor job catching Yellows with some Tuna in the mix as well. After our first day we decided to keep pushing south in hopes to find Tuna but unfortunately our water and conditions was a little off. We have decided to make a move north to finish up our trip with Bluefin before we go home. As advertised the weather continues to be gorgeous and it really does feel like summer. We will check in later.
