Pit 3 continues to fish well

Pit 3 continues to fish well, and the reaches below have some good spots as well. The flows are super stable and reasonable at 330 CFS, this is a great height to fish this stretch. Below the Pit 4 dam is ~400 CFS, and through Big Bend is ~510 CFS. Flows below the powerhouses, 3, 4 & 5, all continue to be large and variable so this is a risky place to fish. Highsticking a TJ Hooker or Rubberlegs, or on a Euronymph rod, is a great way to catch a ton of fish. Any of the Perdigons or Olive Hotspot are also solid flies right now. Salmonflies and Golden Stones are coming off, you can throw dries or do the dry-dropper thing. Be careful, though! This can be a slippery river to wade.
As always, the flows on the Pit can and will change without notice, so definitely check before you go! And be prepared to get out when the river begins to rise.
