The Metolius has been fishing well. It is a good option with the warmer weather we’ve been having as it is a spring creek and stays a consistent temperature. Golden stones are around and dry-dropper setups with a golden stone up top and a nymph or two below are deadly. As far as nymphs go perdigons, nitro caddis, duracells, pheasant tails and jigged leeches have all been working. Swinging around a large streamer is the way to go to target bulls.
