Tackle Recommendations from the Boats for Bluefin trips.

For day time fishing, they are recommending

50lb flyline with a #1 mutu or a 1/0 mutu circle hook

30lb flyline with #2 Owner Mutu Hook. For the guys that want to fish a jig, try a 100 or 130 Colt Sniper or Zakana jigs. We would recommend fishing the jigs on a 50 to 60lb outfit.

For night time fishing, we are still recommending 80 to 100lb outfits and 300 to 400 grams jigs with 130 to 200lb leaders.

The Pacific Dawn called in with 28 mixed bluefin and yellowfin for a 2.5 day private charter.

The Liberty caught 49 Bluefin Tuna, 20 Yellowfin Tuna, and 2 Yellowtail on their 2 day private charter for 24 anglers

The Tomahawk returned this morning with 18 Bluefin Tuna and 2 Yellowfin Tuna for 28 anglers on a 1.5 day trip. 

The Pegasus returned this morning with 14 Bluefin Tuna, 14 Yellowfin Tuna, and and 35 Yellowtail for 12 anglers on their 3 day charter. 

The Fortune returned this morning with LIMITS (60) of Bluefin Tuna and 1 Yellowfin Tuna for 15 anglers on a 2 day trip.

The Mustang caught 5 Bluefin and 1 Yellowfin for 30 anglers on their overnight trip.

The Islander called in 15 Bluefin Tuna for their Overnight trip with 11 anglers.

The Condor is returning this morning with 40 Bluefin Tuna and 3 Yellowfin Tuna for 23 anglers on a 2 day trip. 

The Pacific Queen returned this morning with LIMITS (88) of Bluefin Tuna, 6 Yellowfin Tuna and 63 Yellowtail (15 to 30 lbs.) for 22 anglers on a 2.5 day charter.
