The Daily Double is a definite go for tomorrow's AM 1/2 day trip.

The Oceanside 95 called in this afternoon, they have limits of Bluefin Tuna and 7 Yellowtail for their 1.5 day trip so far.  They are going to look for some kelps before heading back home.

Thursday Morning Report

The New Lo-An returned from their 2 day trip with 49 Bluefin Tuna with half between 60 and 180 pounds and 1 Yellowfin Tuna for their 26 anglers.  
 

Departing on Sunday:

The T-Bird 1.5 day trip departing 8-27-23 is a DEFINITE GO Trip price is $460 and includes the Mexican permit. (BOOK HERE)

The El Capitan also has a 1.5 day trip departing 8-27-23. Trip price is $565 and includes meals and your Mexican permit. This trip is limited to 18 passengers max (BOOK NOW)

Recommended tackle for any of these trips would include a 30# live bait rod, 50# bait/jig rod and a heavy outfit with 80# or 100# for sinker rigs / knife jigs.

Local trips:

The Daily Double offers ½ day trip departing every day at 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM. They have been fishing in the local kelp beds for bass, Barracuda and Rockfish. Call our office at (619) 223-1627 to book your reservation. (Schedule)
 
The Mission Belle has full day trips scheduled to fish offshore for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Yellowtail and Dorado. Trips depart at 6:00 AM. NO PASSPORT required for this trip. (Schedule)

If you're planning on taking a trip with us this season, we encourage you to set up an appointment with one of the 3 fish processors working with Point Loma Sportfishing. If you do not have an advance reservation, there is a strong chance the processors will be unable to process your fish when you return to the dock.
