The Crooked River has been fishing well. PMD and caddis hatches have made for fun dry fly opportunities while split case PMDs, scuds, leeches, and tailwater tinies have made for some excellent nymphing. Swinging around soft hackles and small buggers/streamers is also fun and effective on the crooked. Dry-dropper rigs are also fun and although you will catch more fish on the nymphs below, it's always exciting when a fish comes up to smash a big dry.
