Got ‘em!!More Tuna TODAY for the @patriotsportfishing This time, some Yellowfin! So far, 6 yellowfin tuna (20-30lb) on deck and 2 dorado, and we’re getting ready to stop on more spot.

Having the right gear is super important for this type of fishing. The Patriot will be in search of more tuna offshore Friday, and through Labor Day weekend until it moves on. We’re filling up, so book fast!

Make sure to be prepared with a min of 20-40lb rod, no light gear. 40-80lb mono w/ matching flouro top shot & #2-2/0 circle hooks. If you have some surface irons or poppers to cast at a foamer, bring ‘em, along with 4-10oz torpedo sinkers to set up a sinker rig if necessary.

Dorado tackle: have a 2nd set up with 15-20lb line w/ matching flouro, #4-#2 hooks.
