At Boca, anglers trolling are finding some success trolling for trout near the dam. Shore anglers fishing off the dam in the the morning and evening with powerbait and worms off the bottom are producing good size rainbows and browns. Another good spot to shore fish from at Boca Reservoir is the inlet where the Little Truckee flows in. If you fish the inlet near the Little Truckee river, remember it is catch and release and fly fishing only, no bait. Boca Reservoir is currently at 75% capacity.
