We returned from our last 8 day of the year with a full load of Yellowtail and Yellowfin Tuna for our clients and a few other miscellaneous fish. Ken and Miles started off the trip with plenty of giveaways and raffles which included reels and rods. Angler Ben brought down some fresh crabs for group to enjoy and Chef Christian served up his usual crowd favorites as we traveled south. Down below it was slower than usual Yellowfin Tuna fishing but good grade and good enough for everyone to get what they wanted. Took a tour down to the lower end of the ridge and we're amazed with how little life and fish we came across in our journey. Weather definitely wasn't doing us or the fish any favors but as we travelled north for the later part of the trip it started to subside. We ended up fishing yellowtail for the remainder of the trip and were rewarded with excellent fishing on 18 to 25lb fish. After all said and done everyone had plenty of fish to take home and our ride up was smooth. Couldn't ask for a better group of anglers and we hope to see everyone next year.
