Crooked River has been fishing well. The flows are right around 100 cfs. There are plenty of fish around and zebra midges, rainbow warriors, two-bits, and scuds have been picking up fish. The crooked will have some isolated midge hatches during the winter so it is smart to have some small midge dries on you. The whitefish are spawning so eggs will also be an effective pattern. Stripping or swinging small buggers is also a good way to target some larger, aggressive fish.
