The Fall River has been fishing well. The river has not been stocked in a while so spreading out and covering some water will lead to success as the fish are spread throughout the system. Nymphing with bugs on the smaller side (18-22) seems to be the ticket and we have been liking zebra midges, eggs, copper johns, and rainbow warriors. Euro and indicator nymphing have both been effective. Stripping streamers around some of the undercuts and downed timber is another good way to fool some fish. Keep an eye out for fish keying into the surface and if they are, BWO’s or midges are usually the way to go.
