The Crooked river has been fishing well. Nymphing will be the most consistent method for picking up fish. Zebra midges, two-bits, scuds, and eggs have all been effective patterns. With the whitefish spawning smaller yellowish colored eggs have been a very hot pattern. Owner Scott fished the crooked about a week ago and reported good catch rates for many miles below the dam so don't be affraid to go down low.
