The Fall River has been fishing well. It is a top winter option as like previously mentioned with the Metolius, it is a spring creek which helps maintain consistent temperatures even during the colder months. It is one of your best choices if you must throw dries, and BWOs and small midges will get the job done. The colder days also eliminate some of the crowds. Nymphing has been great with jigged leeches, rainbow warriors, spanish bullets, zebra midges, and eggs. Don’t forget the river below the falls is closed until next year. Streamers swung around cover like downed trees in the river is another good way to fool some aggressive fish.
