Illipah Reservoir is covered with ice averaging 7.5 inches in the areas sampled. The road going into the reservoir was is good condition and passable in two-wheel drive. Recent snow storms could change road conditions, so please plan accordingly. Anglers should not fish near the spillway.  Anglers should expect good catch rates and trout to ranging from 8 to 12 inches.  Nightcrawlers, PowerBait, small jigs and spoons should work well.
