The Kilchis is getting a little on the low and clear side, but should be fishable all week.. There should be good opportunity with the catch mostly consisting of wild steelhead (catch-and-release only). In low water conditions try using dark colors, smaller presentations, and stealthy tactics to up the odds of success.
The Mapes Creek (logging bridge) boat ramp was damaged in the December storm and is still closed. Boaters should use extreme caution and check the ramp before launching there.
