After trying once back in April and again yesterday we finally were able to sneak out with the Weller group this morning.
Steeling the boss mans Cherokee again we headed East this morning and put 10 in the boat real quick then as fast as it started they quit on us down to a slow pick. We worked changing out baits, speed and depth of water until we ran into a very active pod of fish and put there limit in the boat and a few extras on clean up and came back in around noon.
We tried all kinds of stuff today and everything pulled fish
Bandits 60 to 90 back
40TT in front of J-7s 55 - 60 back
Our best program was TD9s 60 and 65 back and speed was all over from 2.3 to 2.4 to 2.6 to 2.7 along with Dipseys on a 1 setting 22 back with J-7s in Fire Tiger and Green Perch
Thanks Jim for coming back and fishing with us again this year at Special-Eyes Sportfishing 1 out of 3 attempts is not a bad track record I guess this year
