Captain Dale and I ran both boats on Saturday and Sunday for David Casto and other passengers. We set up in our usual area on Saturday morning, where the fishing was a bit slow, but we worked hard to catch their limits. On Sunday, we started with jig rods and after about an hour and half with only to show for our efforts we made a short run and broke out the trolling gear. We were on a limited time window this morning with part of the group needing to be on the road by 1130. Despite this, we finished with 28/30 fish needed! Both days we ran the same program bandits 50-90 back on little boards with Big Fish Tuff Tackle TT50’s on the corners with shallow bombers and Yeck spoons.

With a little over a month remaining before I head to Ashtabula, I still have the following days a available May 13, 14, 15, 27, 28, 29.
