The report is much the same as it has been the past month. We are still seeing good Callibaetis and Baetis hatches daily and the Damselfly crop is beginning to show itself in growing numbers. Sparse patterns work well here for these spring creek fish, the Sparkle Stacker Patterns are good, also the Griffith's Gnat is a staple. For nymphs, any of the PMD and Baetis patterns like the smaller #18 Olive Hotspot or the Sweet Pea are dependable patterns. Zack's Zackattack Damsels are great patterns to swing and strip. Don't forget your midge and Wooly Bugger boxes. Balanced Leeches in black and olive under an indicator when the wind picks up can save the day here. Our guides have this place wired if you are looking for some tactical advice on fishing a great spring creek fishery with an expert!
