Weekend recap: It was a busy weekend with having doubles both Friday & Saturday. Friday morning was Scott Coate and crew. We had hopes of casting Friday but with a flat lake the crew
opted for trolling to fill the box with their limit.
Friday & Saturday afternoon was the guys from Iowa. Friday we didn’t do a pick we got a later start than I hoped for and we had to handle more farm animals than I care to see the rest of the year. It was easily 2-1 sheep to get their limit of 30 walleye which made for a long trip. Saturday, it was a completely different story as we only handled a few and worked our way to their limit in a few short hours. We didn’t do a pic on Friday of the group.
Saturday Morning was the 2nd boat for Wayne fisher and crew. We took a 2 hour delay due to the fog and we struggled our way through the morning just picking at the fish to come up a few short of the crews limit. Thank you to Sarah Garlough for jumping on with me so I could have a set of eyes watching for other boats in the fog while I was in the back of the boat.
Programs we’re still bandits & Taildancer 50-70 back with Big Fish Tuff Tackle Co. TT50’s on the corners.
Thank you to both groups for fishing with us and look forward to seeing everyone again!
