Crane Prairie has been fishing great. With the very warm weather we have been experiencing its best to focus your efforts in the channels where the water is a bit deeper and cooler. Callibaetis have begun to show up but damsels remain the stronger hatch. As far as flies go blanched leeches in olive and black, jigged leeches, damsels, bloodworms and chironomids have all been working. Stripping around a damsel nymph is a good way to cover some water and find some willing fish. Best to fish early and later in the day with the warm temps.
