The Crooked River has been fishing well. Nymphing has been the best method for all times of the day and jigged leeches, scuds, two-bits, rainbow warriors, nitro caddis and split case PMDs have been some recent favorites. Caddis have been hatching in the evenings and fish have been taking them well so having a good caddis selection is a good idea. Swinging around a leech or small bugger is always fun on the crooked as well as are dry-dropper setups. The water coming out of the dam will be the coldest and warm a bit as it works its way down the canyon.
